Strategic Planning

Charting a Course masthead

As we chart a course for the future of Homewood-Flossmoor High School Vikings, we are embarking on a strategic planning journey. Our collaborative work will result in an actionable plan to guide HF for the next five years and beyond.

Working with Dr. Greg Hutchings, founder and chief executive officer of Revolutionary ED, an inclusive committee of students, families, staff, school board and community leaders will establish priorities and goals to guide HF into the future.

Student Perspective

HF Junior Ahmad Powell shares how his voice benefits his fellow committee members and the future of his high school and community.

Parent Perspective

HF Parent Randall Brooks reflects on being part of this committee, saying, "What I hope to get from this experience is really an opportunity twofold, really. One for me to be able to say outside of just raising two kids that go through this amazing high school is that I had an opportunity to influence what that looks like for them moving forward, as well as to be more connected to my community."

Committee

As we seek the voice of a broad spectrum of Homewood-Flossmoor community members, the planning committee includes a cross-section of representatives including students, family members, community members, HF staff, and school board members.
